The year 2021 was a good year for AAA titles, with most of it spent under quarantine.
We will be going down memory lane to hand-pick the top AAA games for you in 2022. As we review the top AAA titles, please bear with us.

What’s a Triple-A Game?
Let’s first define what a AAA game is before we get into the details. All AAA games that are released by major and mid-sized developers in the world , are considered AAA games .
A AAA title is a game that has been released by major developers such as Ubisoft and Rockstar, Naughty dog, CD Projekt Red, or Naughty Dog. Major developers publish triple-A games with a huge budget.
However, indie games are published by small-time designers. If you’re interested in RPG stuff you may have heard of them.
It’s an indie game, and was one of the most popular games in 2021. PUBG, on the other hand, is not considered a AAA title.
Minecraft was an indie game, but it was recognized by Microsoft as an AAA title.

15. Minecraft Dungeons

Minecraft Dungeons is at first glance a very similar to Diablo. There are many similarities in mechanics between them, and I don’t think the Minecraft skin would have any doubt that the entire thing was inspired by the Diablo franchise.
The game’s settings are however completely different.
Minecraft Dungeons offers more than just hack and slash. It also allows you to explore well-lit dungeons and craft objects.
It’s a Minecraft-based game but the graphics look very real. Even the most dark sites are easily visible.
The flawless gameplay and brutal combat of Minecraft Dungeons are the highlights. But the subtle lighting effects in Minecraft Dungeons will steal your heart.
This game was a great success. We could not spot any bugs or glitches.
Minecraft Dungeons can be very competitive so you’ll need to have a few tricks if you want the chance to take on their bosses and minions.
It’s difficult to visualize the specifications, but it is necessary to have a powerful computer to run Minecraft Dungeons. Minecraft Dungeons can also be played on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
14. Mafia: The Definitive Edition

Mafia: The Definitive Edition is our favorite game of 2020, because the developers did an excellent job remastering the legendary tale of Tommy Angelo.
We were blown away by the gameplay and mechanics, but the rewritten story made a lasting impression on our hearts. The overall experience was excellent, even though the ending was disappointing.
In 2002, the original Mafia was released. It was the first installment of the Mafia franchise. It was an innovative game that brought back good memories and made us ahead of our time.
The rivalry between Don Morello & Don Salieri would make you want to complete the entire game in one.
Furthermore, the Mafia: The Definite edition had developers crop a small part of the game, but we enjoyed every second.
The graphics were excellent and the mechanics performed well. Driving a bike is not an enjoyable experience, but you don’t need to practice very much to improve your skills.
Additionally, Mafia Definitive Edition runs flawlessly on a mid-range computer with high settings.
We had a great time and there were no fps drops or stuttering throughout.

13. Final Fantasy VII Remake

There were many remakes of Final Fantasy VII Remake, but it was our favorite. It was the most popular AAA title at that time.
Final Fantasy VII Remake tells the story of Cloud Strife, who joins forces with AVALANCHE to fight Shinra Corporation.
We get off a train together with our allies to attack the reactor facility of Shinra Corporation, which is threatening the existence of life on the planet.
While the story is the same as in the original game, there are many bonus content that will enhance your experience.
Final Fantasy VII Remake’s gameplay is quite different from the original, and the mechanics are also very varied.
FF7 Remake has a real-time combat system, but the original game used turn-based tactics.
The developers mentioned that Final Fantasy VII Remake would use turn-based tactics, but they were only used by a handful of bosses.
FF7’s gameplay features beautiful graphics and smooth gameplay.
FF7 Remake should be played at 4K and 60 fps, but Final Fantasy 7 Remake was a PS4 exclusive AAA game. It could hardly maintain 60 fps even on 1080p settings.
The remake of the original game remains in high demand. 5,000,000 copies were sold in just seven months.
This remake will take you back to the days of playing the original game a few decades ago.
12. DOOM Eternal

Doom Eternal is a game of hack and slash that was heavily inspired by its predecessors.
Doom Eternal, the sequel to The Doom (2016), follows the endless journey of Doom Slayers as they juggle from one weapon to another to defeat the evil creatures and dismantle their enemies.
Doom Eternal’s gameplay is intense and unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.
Although it’s not something we do every day, it’s something we can’t help but do when faced with the evil creatures of hell. Doom Eternal can be played in first-person. This may not suit our tastes, but it is an excellent choice for fans of fps.
It would take forever to master the tactics and fights will become more difficult as you progress in the game.
The key to success is finding the right weapon combination, and upgrading your suit. Although unique skins are only cosmetic and will not affect the damage profile, you might find some powerful weapons that can be used to battle the devilish creatures.
You’ll need to be on your feet the entire time in order to time every move.
You can make a mistake and find yourself unable to find the armor or health you need to survive this round.
Doom Eternal requires you to be a skilled battle tactician if your goal is to win. However, if this is your first time playing the genre you will face many obstacles.
Old-timers may be concerned by Doom Eternal’s competitive gameplay. You’ll still enjoy every minute of it.
11. Marvel’s Avengers

We are all in awe at the Marvel universe since the Endgame. With Marvel’s Avengers out, we couldn’t help but be overwhelmed and wanted to own this marvellous work of art.
Marvel’s Avengers is a collection of all our favorite superheroes. All of them “Assemble” on Captain’s command in order to defeat the villains and fight for the people.
This game is primarily focused on lethal combat, where you can play with Captain America and Ironman, Hulk and many other characters.
Each superhero will have their own special abilities, which will be very useful when you are attempting to target villains from the outer worlds.
The campaign only lasts for 10 hours, but you will be spending many hours playing multiplayer content.
Marvel’s Avengers heavily draws inspiration from RPG stuff. There are plenty of character customization options that will make it even more fun.
Marvel’s Avengers continued with a dark story about Taskmaster, who launches an attack on San Francisco and destroys the entire city. He leaves behind countless bodies.
Captain America commands the Avengers to counter Taskmaster and his goons.
It’s quite fun to play and you can experiment with your favorite heroes.
The story becomes a little boring as you progress through the game. However, it is definitely worth the effort.
Marvel fans will love this game and should get it in AAA format by 2022.
10. Valorant

You don’t need to look further if you are looking for a more powerful version of CS GO. Valorant is the closest thing you can find.
This is an online multiplayer free game for first-person players. However, there’s a twist: it has magical abilities and spells that can make the game even more interesting.
It is not easy to master special abilities or spells, but you can practice them by equipping any agent and experimenting with their abilities.
Valorant’s gameplay is extremely competitive. It seems as if all the legendary players of CSGO have migrated over to this free-to play first-person shooter.
The developers did an excellent job optimizing the game’s graphics and mechanics. Valorant can be played even on low-end computers with playable frames per second.
You won’t find any AAA titles free on a low-end Gaming PC in 2022. You get games with graphically demanding, but Valorant is an exception.
Valorant is not available for Microsoft Windows. This means you won’t be able to access this incredible AAA title on your consoles.
Popularity-wise Valorant is the most popular multiplayer action game of the year. Valorant was released in June 2020, but thousands of people still play it every day.
Valorant, another AAA game for 2020, is something you should get your hands on.

9. Baldur’s Gate 3

This one has dragons!
This epic RPG is for you if you enjoy playing AAA Dungeons and Dragons titles.
Baldur’s Gate 3: This is the third installment of the franchisee. After playing the first two, it is safe to say that this one is worth your time and money.
Baldur’s Gate 3 takes place in the Forgotten Realms, where the war-torn country is once again under the control of Mind Flayers.
These inter-dimensional ships allow them to travel between different worlds, and they are using this technology to invade other nations.
As you progress through the game, the story becomes more interesting. Baldur’s Gate 3 heavily draws inspiration from Divinity 2 & Skyrim. Many similar customizations and settings will give you some Skyrim vibes.
Baldur’s Gate 3 remains in early access mode. You could play the first 20-25 hours, but developers have yet to say when the rest of the game will be available.
We think we will get all the content from developers this year, however, with next generation consoles right around the corner.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is flawless on mid-range battle stations in terms of graphics and performance. You won’t notice any shuttering or frame drops.
Moving on, character customization is a major aspect of the game. If you are into RPGs, you will be amazed at it.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a great choice if you’re looking for an RPG that has Skyrim flavours, then this would be a good option.
8. Warzone: Call of Duty

Activision’s battle royale was born after the success of Fortnite & PUBG. We are all in awe.
Call of Duty: Warzone, the first battle-royale title in the series, offers the most competitive and advanced combat we have ever seen.
Call of Duty Warzone, another AAA title, is free to download. However, if you wish to have access premium skins you will need to purchase a season pass.
We’re also in the fourth season of Warzone, and we have enjoyed every moment of it.
Additionally, Warzone’s gameplay is very difficult and is played from the first-person view.
A professional with knowledge of modern assault rifles is necessary if you want to win.
The graphics are stunning, and you will need a high-end computer to enjoy smooth gameplay.
Warzone is not the best choice for first person shooters. Its competitive nature will make it difficult to choose.
There are millions of players competing against one another, so there is only one winner. Don’t despair if you don’t get your first win.
Warzone is a large map that you can deploy with your team. The key to victory is to get the best loot.
Grau 5.54 is a great tool for dismantling enemy squads. Warzone is a unique experience that you will never forget.

7. Legion Watchdogs

Watch Dogs: Legion, the third installment of the WD franchise, is one of the most anticipated games this year.
Watch Dogs: Legion, like its predecessors is an open-world video game heavily influenced and inspired by hacking/slashing in London.
The story follows Dedsec, a hacker group, as he is being tried for the London bombing. This plot aims to make the people hate this extremist group.
The story flows well and becomes very interesting. We don’t want you to be disappointed so I’ll leave it up to your imagination.
Watch Dogs Legion, like the previous installment, is poorly optimized. Even in high-end rigs Watch Dogs Legion couldn’t achieve 60 frames per second on a 4K screen.
Some believe Ubisoft installed three DRM protection layers to prevent hackers from cracking the game. This could explain the frame drops and constant shuttering.
There are also many side missions and other activities that can be done around the city. If you’re a RPG enthusiast, you’ll love this one.
The gameplay and mechanics are excellent and the review can be concluded without mentioning the well-written script.

6. Resident Evil 3 Remake

Another remake, but this one is actually very good!
Capcom pulled off another great feat with Resident Evil 3: The remake that was released by the company. It is a masterpiece of gameplay and dark scenes.
Capcom released Resident Evil 2 in HD, and we may soon be able to get Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Next, Resident Evil 3 features Jill, a fictional character who fights for her life in the zombie apocalypse.
Trust me, it’s intense.
RE3 Remake, like its predecessors is played in first-person mode. It is terrifying as hell. We recommend VR settings in a dark, scary room if you feel you have the nerve to play this one. It’s not for everyone.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is a stunning experience with a terrifying environment and realistic graphics. If you are not afraid of being scared, we recommend getting a VR headset.
Resident Evil 3 Remake, in short, is another AAA-class AAA game worth your time.
5. Crysis Remastered

We are back with “But, can your computer run Crysis?”
CryTech has taken things to a whole other level with Crysis Remastered. This game offers flawless gameplay and a beautifully rendered world.
This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful AAA first-person shooters we have ever seen.
There were a few minor problems that made the experience less enjoyable. First, the game was poorly optimized and failed to display decent frame rates on high-resolution monitors.
We were also disappointed by the game’s glitchy gameplay and flawed mechanics.
Crysis: Remastered brought back fond memories from the golden age and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire campaign.
A lighter note: developers could have done a better job remaking Crysis, as the constant interrupting bugs are a bit annoying.
Crysis Remastered, despite its technical flaws is stunning and has a rich storyline that will make you fall in love.
Crysis Remastered is a great first person shooter.
4. Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is without doubt the AAA game of 2020 that lives up to its hype.
Ghost of Tsushima has flawless gameplay and a great storyline. It’s the perfect game if you want to have the best time of your lives.
It has stunning graphics and gameplay that will amaze you.
Ghost of Tsushima is a dark story about the Mongolian army, and their brutality during the 1274 invasion led by Khotun Khan.
Jin Sakai, the main character in the game, joins the resistance force against the Mongolian to drive them out of their city.
Discover the story of Jin Sakai, the samurai who fought against the Mongolian army to save his uncle. Each objective will be unique and flows well.
The Ghost of Tsushima’s unique feature is the absence of a mini-map on the screen. You’ll need to follow the wind to get to your destination.
Sucker Punch delivered a major blow to the jaws of Xbox and PC gamers when it released Ghost of Tsushima only on PlayStation 4.

3. Animal Crossing – New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows you to personalize it in many ways. This game offers a wide range of customization options that go beyond what we can imagine.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, unlike other farming games is extremely optimized and offers all types of terrains.
You’ll also be digging in the ground for bugs and other materials that can be used to build different structures on the Island.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers endless customization and exploration possibilities. You will never tire of this game.
Holidays are right around the corner, and exploring different islands with your friends will be an unforgettable moment.

1. Part II: The Last of Us

The Last of Us Part II might be the most controversial AAA title of this decade, but we won’t get into that discussion right now. Instead, we will stick to the script and give you an overview of what the game is all about.
The Last of Us Part II looks stunning and offers realistic gameplay. Every inch of the game has been beautifully rendered.
This is a story-wise surprise that we didn’t expect from the series. Although we won’t reveal the details, we can warn you that the story will have an impact on your life for the rest of it.
We were not disappointed by Naughty Dogs’ sequel, as everything in the game is as smooth and easy-to-use.
The Last of Us Part II, one of the most graphically challenging games, is now available on PlayStation 5 with raytracing enabled.
The entire experience is very satisfying, and TLOU2 should win the title of game of the year.
The Last Of Us Part II, however, is a PS4 exclusive. This means you will need a PlayStation to play it.

1. Cyberpunk 2077
CD Projekt Red may delay the release of the most anticipated AAA game in a decade, unless they decide to make it a priority again. Cyberpunk 2077, an open-world game that will be released in 2019, is set in 2077 in futuristic Night City.
This AAA title has been in development for almost a decade. We expect it to be a huge success.
2. Cold War
Call of Duty: Cold War is the sixth installment of the Black Ops series. This game will continue the Mason storyline, and it could be headed to Russia. Rumours suggest that Call of Duty: Cold War might have a multiplayer mode and merge the battle royale mode with Warzone.
3. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
In a few days, Ubisoft will also release the Viking-themed Assassin’s Creed game. We couldn’t find any references to the Assassins or Templar orders in the trailers and gameplay. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla looks amazing and we’re eagerly awaiting its release.
