How to enter San Andreas cheats (including the Definitive Edition).
Although cheating is easy, there are some things you should keep in mind before using them. Here’s a quick overview of the things you need to know.
- We have disabled several cheat codes from the 2021 Definitive Edition. Rockstar confirmed that they have removed the cheats for technical purposes. We have also verified which of these worked for us and kept those that worked in previous rereleases.
- The Definitive Edition has new cheat codes. One of these is Big Head Mode. This is done by entering the Konami Code (Up, Down and Down, Left-Right, Right, Left), then the rightmost face button, then the down-most button (on PlayStation, this would be Circle, then X). This cheat can be entered using the keyboard in a non-PC-specific manner. This is Dan Allen Gaming’s cheat in action on YouTube.
- The keyboard and controller inputs work mostly on all platforms of the Definitive Edition. This is useful for Big Head Mode, in particular. To activate cheats on consoles, you can use the keyboard inputs for the PC. We have found that the codes that work and those that don’t work can vary. If one method doesn’t work, you can try the “usual” method for the platform to find out if it works.
- Cheating can cause Achievements and Trophies to be disabled. Save a separate file for cheat-filled sessions.
- Cheats won’t work if you start the game. You can continue playing until you’re allowed to explore the open world.
- Many cheats cannot be deactivated. Although most cheats of the “mode” type (those that toggle an option, such as slow motion, on or off), will show a “Cheat Activated” notification, it doesn’t actually do anything. We often discovered that the cheat remained active until the save was reloaded or quit the game. Another reason to save your game before you start!

How to use cheats in GTA San Andreas mobile
Cheats can be used in GTA San Andreas mobile but you will need to find a way around it, as there is no keyboard or controller to input the codes.
